The Board of the Columbia University Club of South Florida, the CAA, and the Host Committee cordially invite you to join us on Thursday, December 3 for the 8th Annual Columbia Alumni Reception celebrating Art Basel | Miami Beach and Miami Art Week! 

In years past, this gathering of almost 300 alumni and their guests has been held at iconic venues such as the National Hotel and the Bass Museum of Art. In 2015, we are excited to invite you to the budding Miami Design District for a private guided tour of the renowned de la Cruz Collection followed by a cocktail reception at 4141 Design with food and drinks catered by MC Kitchen. 

• The Neighborhood: The Miami Design District is an emerging art, design, and shopping destination. Located just north of downtown and just west of Miami Beach, it is fast becoming a major hub for many of the art and design events that take over Miami during Miami Art Week.
• The Art: Our evening will start at 5:30pm with a private guided tour of the de la Cruz Collection Contemporary Art Space. Privately funded by Carlos and Rosa de la Cruz, this space serves as an extension of their home, where for over 25 years they have shared their collection with the public.
• The Reception: At 6:45pm, guests depart de la Cruz Collection and walk 1.5 blocks along 41st Street through the heart of Miami Design District to arrive at 4141 Design. This space is one of the largest collections of luxury branded furniture and accessories in the United States, and exhibits innovative and classic furniture designs. While mingling with fellow alumni and guests, everyone will be served a selection of appetizers and wine by MC Kitchen.
• VIP @ UNTITLED: This year, we are excited to offer each attendee a VIP Pass to the UNTITLED Art Fair being held on Miami Beach from December 2-6, 2015. Your VIP Pass will secure access to the VIP Preview on December 1 and any-day entry to the UNTITLED Art Fair (Value: $30). After purchasing your CAA Reception ticket, you will receive instructions to access your UNTITLED VIP Pass(es).
